The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Multiplex Polymerase Chain Reaction”

by Prof. Dr. Batool Hassan Hashem. The workshop aimed to clarify and explain this technique that can be used in laboratories to diagnose a large number of germs.

Polymerase sequence reaction is a type of polymerase reaction method where more than one target sequence is amplified using multiple sets of prefixes and this allows several gene segments to be amplified at the same time, rather than performing specific tests for each. The workshop aims to clarify and explain this technique that can be used in laboratories to diagnose a large number of germs, also it include an explanation of the device, the method of preparing the sample and how to read the result
