About the Legal Unit
The Legal Unit at the College of Dentistry was established within the College's administrative structure during the academic year 2006–2007 . The Unit is responsible for managing and following up the College's legal affairs and for providing legal opinions and advice in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, instructions, and administrative procedures.
Responsibilities of the Legal Unit
Participating in all investigative committees established within the College.
Representing the College before courts and official governmental authorities.
Preparing academic sponsorship and guarantee documents for students admitted within Iraq.
Preparing internal undertakings, commitments, and guarantee documents.
Providing legal opinions and advice on matters referred to the Unit.
Preparing College contracts and following up the associated legal procedures.
