Historical Overview of the Legal Unit in the College of Dentistry

The Legal Unit at the College of Dentistry was established according to the administrative structure during the academic year 2006/2007.

Responsibilities of the Legal Unit:

The tasks carried out by the head of the Legal Unit at the College of Dentistry are as follows:

  1. Participation in all investigative committees.
  2. Representing the college in courts and before all official state bodies.
  3. Organizing educational guarantees for students accepted within the country.
  4. Arranging internal commitments and guarantees.
  5. Providing legal opinions.
  6. Drafting and executing contracts on behalf of the college.

Number of Employees in the Legal Unit:

  1. Mr. Ammar Khalid Hameed: An administrative employee responsible for drafting the legal unit’s official letters.

Head of the Legal Unit:

The legal officer, Mr. Imad Bandar Atwan, was assigned as the head of the Legal Unit at the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, on 18/09/2008 and continues to serve in this position.

Location of the Legal Unit:

The Legal Unit is located on the first floor of the college building.
