Under the auspices of the respected Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdel Razzaq Muhammad, Continuous Education Unit at College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, organized a training course entitled: \u201cCollection of Gingival Crevicular fluid from Patients with Chronic Periodontitis using Periotron 8010\u201d. The lecturers are Asst Prof Dr Harraa S. Mohammed-Salih, Asst Prof Dr Raghad Fadhil, Asst prof Dr Ali A Abdulkareem and Lecturer Dr Hadeel Adel Al-Lami.<\/span>
\nThe course included lectures, demonstration and workshop on collecting, measuring, storing and processing gingival crevicular fluids from patients with chronic periodontitis using the Periotron 8010. Faculty teaching members and postgraduate students have attained the course. This course aimed to develop the ability of professors and postgraduate students on the use the device \u201cPeriotron\u201d.<\/span>
\nThe lecturers recommended the establishment of using the last updated tools in performing studies and researches for standardization and ease comparison with other international studies in literature.<\/span><\/p>\n
