{"id":1075,"date":"2023-03-13T15:45:02","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T15:45:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1075"},"modified":"2025-01-02T08:03:29","modified_gmt":"2025-01-02T08:03:29","slug":"department-of-oral-diagnosis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=1075","title":{"rendered":"Department of Oral Diagnosis"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Arial Black';\">Duties<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Arial Black';\">The department of oral diagnosis comprises several branches, each one is responsible for teaching certain subjects, as follow:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Arial Black';\">Oral medicine: this branch is specialized in giving lectures and clinical training for the fifth-grade students about diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of different conditions and syndromes that affect the oral cavity and temporomandibular joint.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Arial Black';\">Oral pathology: this branch is dedicated towards teaching histopathological nature of oral diseases and syndromes for the fourth grade and train the students how to diagnose these conditions microscopically. In addition, the department is proud of having the only dedicated lab for diagnostic services in Iraq that offer these services to referred patients from other hospitals and clinics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14px; font-family: 'Arial Black';\">Oral Radiology: This branch gives lectures for the third grade and the topics start with physics and hazards of the radiation then how to differentiate different oral conditions in different diagnostic radiographs.
