Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdel-Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific symposium entitled (Factors affecting CBCT imaging quality) delivered by lecturer Rasha Jamil Abdel-Sahib. <\/span>
\nThe objectives of the symposium were to clarify the factors that affect CBCT imaging quality and their impact on radiographic results.<\/span>
\nThe symposium clarified\u00a0 settings factors that affect the quality of imaging, such as the amount of radiation, the size of radiation, the size of the area to be imaged, the type of tissue to be imaged, and the type of x-ray section required for imaging, along with examples and illustrative images that included correct imaging operations and common errors. <\/span>
\nThe symposium recommended increasing knowledge of modern imaging technologies, improving the quality of images, and reducing the radiation dose for the patient.<\/span><\/p>\n
