Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdel-Razzaq Mohammed, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a training course entitled How to use the Periotron 8010 device in dental research, delivered by Dr Hiraa Sabah and Dr Hadeel Adel.<\/span>
\nThe aim of the course was to introduce the mechanism of using the gingival fluid as a source for updated research. <\/span>
\nThe course\u00a0 demonstrated the\u00a0 mechanism of using periotron device. Gingival fluid is avaliable material for orthodontic research and periodontal diseases, pediatric and preventive dentistry, and oral and dental surgery, as itcontains a number of proteins, electrolytes, cells and bacteria that reflect the state of healthy gums and the surrounding teething.\u00a0 The use of the Periotron 8010 will make a qualitative leap in the field of research.<\/span>
\nThe course recommends the necessity of using advanced means and devices to produce solid research that keeps pace with international updated research.<\/span><\/p>\n
