Under the supervision of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the respected Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in joint cooperation with the University of Baghdad, College of Dentistry, Al-Mustansiriya University, College of Dentistry, and Al-Ghadeer Dental Center.<\/span>
\nThe First Iraqi International Conference on Dental Implants and Periodontal Diseases was held under the slogan \u201cSmart Technologies in Periodontal Diseases and Dental Implants\u201d and in the presence of the Honorable President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ansaf, the Honorable Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, and the Honorable Dean of the College of Dentistry, Al-Mustansiriya University. and the Respected Director of Al-Ghadeer Dental Center and a large number of dentists in Iraq, 26-27\/4\/2024 in the Celebration Hall.<\/span>
\nThe conference included various activities that began with the opening by listening to the national anthem and reciting verses from the Holy Quran and Surah Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The opening also included screenings of introductory documentaries about Iraq\u2019s civilization and scientific history, as well as a screening of documentaries about the achievements of the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriya University, in addition to a presentation. An introductory film for Al Ghadeer Centre.<\/span>
\nThe respected Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, gave his speech in which he discussed the achievements of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research during the year and a half and the college\u2019s achievements, as the college entered the Shanghai World Classification with an advanced rank between 201-300, and the first college of dentistry in Iraq also obtained the Full national accreditation. It ranked first locally in the Shimaco World Classification, in addition to the college joining the European Dental Association (ADEE), and the college magazine achieved a historic achievement by being present in the global Scopus database. These achievements highlight the quality of education and teaching at the college, and strengthen its position as one One of the distinguished colleges in the field of dentistry locally and internationally.<\/span>
\nThe respected President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Ansaf, gave his speech in which he addressed the necessity of developing the educational process and enhancing the reality of scientific and educational research. He also addressed the importance of the conference and the presence of the union and companies specialized in the field of dentistry within applied work. He referred to the topic of how to deal with preventive health and the safety of the human body and their relationship. Diseases, including those related to the field of dentistry.<\/span>
\nRegarding the speech of the Director of the Al-Ghadeer Center, Dr. Muhannad Majid, he addressed the importance of the conference, with broad international and Iraqi participation. The conference sought to provide the latest technologies and scientific research to the Iraqi doctor in order to keep pace with the development taking place in this field. He also indicated the Al-Ghadeer Center\u2019s support for the conference, which is the first of its kind in our beloved Iraq. Opening of the exhibition for medical devices.<\/span>
\nA number of valuable research was presented in the field of smart technologies in periodontal diseases and dental implants, which is considered an important opportunity for specialists in this field to exchange knowledge, experiences, scientific research, and the latest technologies.<\/span>
\nThe objectives of the conference included:<\/span>
\n\u25cf Presenting the latest scientific findings and applied research for the purpose of employing them scientifically to enhance the quality of education and achieve sustainable development.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u25cf Exchanging experiences with researchers and specialists from various universities and learning about modern technologies in the field of dental implants and periodontal diseases.<\/span>
\n\u25cf Developing the scientific, research and academic capabilities of researchers and teachers according to the latest developments.<\/span>
\n\u25cf Enhancing healthcare for patients by adopting modern technologies and treatments.<\/span><\/p>\n

The conference included topics:<\/span>
\nResearch developments in various dental specialties, including:<\/span>
\n\u25cf Oral and maxillofacial surgery.<\/span>
\n\u25cf Artificial prosthetics and dental implants.<\/span>
\n\u25cf periodontal diseases and periodontal surgery.<\/span><\/p>\n

This important event emphasized the importance of scientific conferences in enhancing scientific and technical communication between researchers and specialists in the field of dentistry.<\/span><\/p>\n
