As a scientific achievement reflecting the academic awareness and the commitment of teaching staff and students at College of Dentistry \/ University of Baghdad. Asst Prof. Firas Abdul-Rahman Jamil from Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the 2nd stage student Sarah Saif Jamal were able to identify a scientific error in the book Logan\u2019s Illustrated Human Anatomy, CRC Press, 2017.<\/span>
\nThe scientific committee of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery has confirmed the presence of the mistake and contacted the international publishing house. The publishing house respond and corrected the error in the updated version of the book.<\/span>
\nThe Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad Al-Hashemi, supported such initiatives and praised the Iraqi competencies. These achievements demonstrate the leadership of the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad in keeping pace with international academic standards and enhances the path of higher education in Iraq towards excellence and innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n
