M.E. Iman Amer and attended by a number of college students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The workshop aimed to raise awareness of cyber risks and teach participants the basics of digital protection, as well as the principles of ethical hacking and an understanding of laws and regulations related to cybersecurity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The workshop also included several topics:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 An introduction to cybersecurity, covering the basic concepts and importance of digital protection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 Types of cyber threats, including phishing, malware, and hacking attacks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 Security basics, including password management, encryption, and firewalls.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 Network and systems security, securing wireless networks, servers, and devices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 Cyberattacks and methods of countering them, as well as an analysis of attack methods and effective protection methods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>The workshop recommended the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 Raising security awareness by spreading a culture of cybersecurity among individuals and organizations to reduce cyber risks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 Avoiding suspicious links and attachments by not opening untrusted emails to avoid phishing scams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">\u2022 Using strong, complex passwords and updating them regularly, along with enabling two-factor authentication.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt aligncenter wp-image-4356\" src=\"http:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2025\/04\/IMG_4660-1024x632.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"370\" data-warning=\"Missing alt text\" srcset=\"https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2025\/04\/IMG_4660-1024x632.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2025\/04\/IMG_4660-300x185.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2025\/04\/IMG_4660-768x474.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2025\/04\/IMG_4660-600x370.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2025\/04\/IMG_4660.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, the College of <a class=\"cz_readmore\" href=\"https:\/\/en.codental.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4354\"><i class=\"fa fa-angle-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><span>More<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":11,"featured_media":4355,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[12],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4354","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
