Prof. Dr. Fadel Shaker Al-Saadi, Director of the Center for Educational and Psychological Research at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, with the attendance of the Dean of the College, the assistant deans, heads of departments, the guidance unit director, liaison members, as well as faculty members and students.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The symposium aimed to raise awareness among youth about the dangers of drugs, strengthen their role in combating drug abuse, and extend awareness to other segments of society.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The symposium covered several topics, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">An introductory overview of drugs and their types.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Causes of drug abuse.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Real-life examples for awareness.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Characteristics of addicts and how to identify them.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Methods of eliminating drug abuse.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">Mechanisms for protecting individuals and society.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\"><strong>Key recommendations of the symposium included:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">The necessity of holding more symposiums to increase awareness, as youth are the most active segment of society.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">As part of the institution\u2019s commitment to supporting and appreciating distinguished efforts, Assist.
