<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Mohammed, and as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific seminar entitled: “The Effect of Different Occlusal Techniques in Primary Teeth on Apical Microleakage Using Endophase (A Comparative Laboratory Study).” The seminar was presented by postgraduate student Alaa Fadhil Arzouki and attended by a number of postgraduate students and faculty members.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to introduce the various methods used in root canal fillings for primary teeth and compare them in terms of apical microleakage and the presence of spaces within the filling.<\/p>\n
The seminar covered different root canal filling techniques for primary teeth and the materials used, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each material. It also addressed the testing mechanisms for three root canal filling methods (pulmonary pressure injection, disposable modified injection, and the rotary technique) and compared them using computed tomography (CT) and stain extraction methods. The symposium recommended the use of endodontic pressure injections, as they result in less apical leakage and less air bubble production within the root canal filling.<\/p>\n
