The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific seminar entitled “Obesity: Causes and Harms,” \u200b\u200bpresented by Assistant Lecturer Najwan Mohammed Saeed, and attended by a number of faculty members.<\/p>\n
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the causes and health risks of obesity, methods of treatment, and the importance of following guidelines to reduce weight gain and fat accumulation in the body, given its significant impact on both mental and physical health.<\/p>\n
The seminar covered several topics, including:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Factors Affecting Obesity<\/p>\n
\u2022 Some Foods That Contribute to Obesity<\/p>\n
\u2022 Treatment and Prevention of Obesity<\/p>\n
The scientific symposium recommended the importance of following advice and guidelines to maintain a healthy weight through balanced nutrition, regular exercise, avoiding excessive consumption of high-calorie foods, monitoring weight regularly, and minimizing the intake of foods rich in saturated fats and sugars.<\/p>\n
