It is responsible for formulating academic policies, overseeing administrative and educational affairs, and making strategic decisions that support the College&#8217;s mission in education, research, and community service, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Council Composition<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The College Council is composed of:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Dean of the College<\/strong> \u2013 Chairperson<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Heads of the Scientific Departments<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Secretary of the College Council<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>Additional members<\/strong>, where applicable, in accordance with university regulations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The Council is responsible for:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Establishing the College&#8217;s academic and strategic policies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Reviewing and approving curricula and academic programmes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Supervising undergraduate and postgraduate educational affairs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Supporting scientific research and academic development.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Reviewing academic promotions and related academic matters.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Approving the formation of academic and administrative committees.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Monitoring quality assurance and institutional performance.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Implementing University and Ministry regulations and directives.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Promoting continuous improvement in teaching, research, and administrative practices.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">College Council Secretary<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The Secretary of the College Council provides administrative support to the Council by:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Preparing meeting agendas.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Recording and maintaining official meeting minutes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Coordinating the implementation of Council resolutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Managing official correspondence and administrative follow-up.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Council Meetings<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The College Council convenes regularly throughout the academic year to discuss matters related to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Academic programmes and examinations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Student affairs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Scientific research and postgraduate studies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Administrative and financial issues.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Quality assurance and institutional development.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Implementation of Council resolutions.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">Vision<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">The College Council is committed to promoting academic excellence, institutional governance, and continuous development through transparent decision-making and effective leadership.
