<\/p>\nFaculty of Dentistry\/University of Baghdad has organized a training course on CBCT and virtual planning for dental implant.<\/p>\n
Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi; faculty of Dentistry\/ University of baghdad has organized a training course entitled (CBCT and virtual planning for implant), which was delivered by Dr. Ali Abdul Razzaq Muhammad and Dr. Ghazwan Adnan Abboud; and in the presence of the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Head of the prosthodontic department, and number of teaching staff.
\nThe aim of the course was to diagnose implant cases and digitally determine their location inside the patient’s mouth before performing the dental implant surgical operation.<\/p>\n
The course also included the following topics:
\nThe first axis: educational lectures on the importance of using CBCT and virtual planning
\nThe second axis: a workshop on how to use the CBCT program.
\nThe third axis: a workshop on how to do virtual planning, digital planning for placing implants before the operation.<\/p>\n
Researchers recommended the importance and necessity of using CBCT and a virtual planning program before performing any dental implant surgery in order to avoid problems during the operation and to reduce the operation time.<\/p>\n
