The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a symposium entitled (pierre robin sequence). It was presented by the assistant lecturer Russell Jaafar Hadi.
The symposium aimed to identify the Pierre Robin Sequence disease, main symptoms of the disease and the factors and theories causing this disease.
The symposium also included methods of pre- and post-natal examination, clinical and surgical methods of treatment.
The symposium recommended early examination of the disease in order to control symptoms, especially difficulty breathing, which could lead to death.
