Professor Dr. Abdul Basit Ahmed Fathallah, a teaching professor at the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, in cooperation with doctoral student Manar Iyad Abdul Latif at the University of Baghdad, obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control to enable them to manufacture a compound of polyether ether ketone/calcium silicate/tellurium dioxide as implant materials. The patent uses materials manufactured using modern methods for the purpose of using them as dental implants and improving their harmony with the surrounding jaw bone. This distinguished scientific achievement comes through the endless support of the Deanship of the College, represented by the Honorable Dean, and the provision of all requirements necessary to complete scientific research.
