The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a continuing education course entitled Development in Orthodontics, in the presence of a number of faculty members at the college.
The aim of the course is to inform participants about the developments in orthodontics and the most important and latest techniques used in orthodontics.
The course included several topics:
1. gummy smile, its treatment, and how to diagnose it.
2. The importance of the retainer after the end of orthodontic treatment.
3. The latest methods of jaw expansion using the MARPE device.
4. extraction in children.
The course recommended: the necessity of following developments in orthodontics and using the latest devices to obtain the best results.
