Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdel-Razzaq, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a symposium entitled The Green Economy and its Role in Sustainable Development, delivered by Ms. Zainab Abdel-Jabbar.
The symposium explained the concepts of sustainable development and the green economy.
The symposium also included many topics, including:
1- The concept of green economy.
2- History of the concept of green economy.
3- What is sustainable development?
4- The relationship between the green economy and sustainable development.
The symposium recommended:
The necessity of cooperating with universities to hold workshops to introduce the importance of the green economy and sustainable development with the aim of achieving the three dimensions of sustainable development (economic, social and environmental).
