The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a seminar entitled The Role of Women in Maintaining Security in Society, delivered by Colonel Ammar Majid Hamid / Assistant Director of the Iraqi Community Police, and attended by a number of faculty members and employees of the college.
The aim of the seminar: To identify the effective role of women in maintaining security in society by guiding and educating family members.
The seminar also included topics that addressed the role of women in educating family members about the dangers of drugs and preventing modern methods of promoting them, as well as the role of women in educating family members about the dangers of social networking sites and their effects on the social relations of Iraqi family members.
The symposium recommended the necessity of organizing community awareness courses on the topic of activating the role of women in maintaining community security and spreading awareness of the importance of family cohesion and ensuring that families sit and dialogue with one another, as well as emphasizing the role of the family in guiding children.
Within the framework of the Foundation’s keenness to support and appreciate distinguished efforts, Colonel Ammar Majid Hamid was honored in appreciation of his fruitful efforts in the field of awareness of the role of women in maintaining community security.
