The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific symposium entitled “Tolerance and How to Enhance the Spirit of Tolerance and Moderation” delivered by Asst. Dr. Zainab Ali Salman and attended by a number of faculty members at the college.
The scientific symposium aimed to identify the concept of tolerance and the reasons that prevent people from tolerance and the impact of tolerance on the individual and society.
The scientific symposium also included axes that dealt with:
1- The concept of tolerance.
2- Steps of tolerance.
3- The impact of tolerance on the individual and society.
The symposium recommended the existence of many steps of tolerance, which include psychological comfort for the person as well as having a positive impact and effects on the individual and society. And the necessity and awareness of different age groups to stimulate the spirit of tolerance.
