Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad / Department of Media and Government Communication organized a continuing education course entitled “Mechanisms of Writing News and the Art of Creating a Media Television Image”. With the attendance of a number of employees and lecturers of the college.
The continuing education course aimed to shed light on the mechanism and creativity in writing news and creating a media television image, which contributes to enhancing the quality of media content.
The continuing education course also included several topics, including:
1- The concept of the press news and its importance.
2- Mechanisms of writing the press news.
3- Types of press news.
4- Creating a media television image.
The continuing education course recommended the necessity of:
1. Adhering to the basic principles of writing news, including accuracy, objectivity and clarity, to ensure the delivery of information truthfully and professionally.
2. Enhancing journalistic drafting skills through continuous training on writing news in an attractive and influential style.
3. Effectively employ visual elements, by choosing appropriate images that support the news and enhance its impact on the recipient.
4. Pay attention to the quality of the image, in terms of accuracy, lighting and composition, to ensure that the media message is conveyed clearly and powerfully.
