Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al Hashemi, Dean of the College of Dentistry, a symposium was held in the Basic Sciences branch on Wednesday 5/1/2022. Dr. Fadia Abdel Mohsen, give a lecture in which she dealt with a definition of antibiotics, their types, how they work and their impact on pathogenic bacteria. The phenomenon of antibiotic resistance and its health importance was also mentioned. On the other hand, the role of antibiotics in light of the Corona pandemic was clarified.
