Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific symposium entitled “The Effect of Vitamin D3 on the Movement of Orthodontic Teeth” which was presented by Dr. Ali Muhammad Hamid.
The aim of the symposium was to review the latest studies and research on the relationship of vitamin D3 to orthodontics.
The symposium recommends measuring and regulating the level of vitamin D3 before starting the orthodontic process because of its positive effects in increasing the speed of tooth movement, which reduces the period of orthodontics and reduces the pain associated with orthodontics.
