The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific symposium entitled The Use of Aromatic Aromatherapy in Pediatric Dentistry, which was presented by Dr. Aseel Haider Muhammad.
The symposium aimed to introduce the effect of using aromatherapy in pediatric dentistry, and presented the types of aromatic scents and the impact of each type on the behavior of children during their dental treatment.
The most important recommendations of the symposium was the use of aromatic scents during children’s dental treatment would reduce anxiety and stress when visiting the dentist for children.
