The College of Dentistry organized a continuing education course on the impact of sun exposure on health
Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdel-Razzaq Muhammad, the respected Faculty of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, organized a continuing education course entitled The Effect of Sun Exposure on Health.
The course gave a full explanation of the benefits of exposure to sunlight and its importance for the health of bones and teeth, as well as the harms and diseases that can affect humans as a result of improper exposure to sunlight.
The course included the following headlines:
1- The history and importance of exposure to direct sunlight
2- Sun protection
3- The effect of radiation on human health
4- The effect of sunlight on the immune system
The course recommended the necessity of protection from harmful rays, considering the importance of exposure to sunlight on bone health.
