Administrative divisions

Studies and Planning Division

This division is specialized in determining the actual need of the college to staff members in addition to periodically preparing statistical analysis about the students and college staff. This division includes statistic and database units.

Statistic unit is responsible for issuing the annual and technical reports about the college. These reports cover all information of under- and postgraduate students in addition to all technical aspects and inventory about the clinics, materials and equipment stores, laboratories and library content. Also, the annual report provides data about employment according to academic degree, specialty, job and scientific titles.

Database unit is dedicated in establishing database for all staff members on special platforms that enable easy and fast access to all necessary information. Beside that, this unit is responsible for naming candidates to join training courses and workshops.

Administrative units

The college has other units necessary to accomplish various essential tasks which include:

  • Informatics and Media Unit: The main duties of this unit is to document all scientific activities in the college such as symposiums, seminars, quality assurance and continuous education program.
  • Legal Unit: Represents the official and legal representative of the college in addition to integral role in ethical committee.
  • e-health Unit: The foundation of this unit was based on the strategic orientation of the ministry of higher education and scientific research to improve the quality of the health care and to facilitate the access to the health services. The concept of e-health and the use of communications technology will give the opportunity to develop and enhance the health system by increasing the efficiency and the chance of obtaining health care services.
  • Medical Waste Treatment Unit: The main objective of this unit is to maintain the public health and safety of the environment through organization of educational programs and workshops for college staffs and students. Sorting and treatment of hazardous materials produced in the college and dental hospital and monitoring the transfer of these waste to special treatment sites following universal health and safety regualtions.
