Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a seminar entitled “The Environment and Ways to Protect It” delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Shaima Sabti Mutlaq and attended by a number of faculty members at the college.
The seminar aimed to inform participants that preserving the environment is a shared responsibility that requires concerted efforts from individuals and institutions.
The seminar included several axes that addressed the importance of implementing sustainable solutions such as recycling, reducing resource consumption, and afforestation, and how to contribute to preserving our planet for future generations.
The seminar recommended the need to raise awareness among individuals through awareness campaigns that can motivate individuals to take effective steps to preserve the environment as well as teaching children the importance of the environment and how to preserve it from an early age, making them responsible citizens in the future.
