The research entitled “An in-vitro evaluation of residual dentin retained after using novel enzymatic-based chemomechanical caries removal agents” was published by Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamis Al-Taie, and a PhD student Huda Musaed Al-Badri at the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, Department of Conservative and Aesthetics Treatment, with Prof. Dr. Shatha Al-Shammari, College of Science / Department of Chemistry / University of Baghdad, and a British Professor at King’s College London Prof. Avijit Banerjee, in the Scientific Reports Journal which is a Scopus Q1.
The research was about evaluating the efficiency of new materials for chemically removing tooth decay based on the enzyme bromelain extracted from pineapple.The Journal is issued by Springer Nature and is ranked among the top ten magazines in the field of multiple specializations worldwide.
