Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Ali Ismail Ibrahim, the College of Dentistry at University of Baghdad participated in the Sixth Student Scientific Conference for Graduation Projects, entitled “Graduation Research: Student Visions for Shaping a Sustainable Future,” for the academic year 2025–2026, hosted by Al-Kafeel University.

During the conference, Prof Aseel Haider Mohammed Jawad, Head of the Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry Branch, was awarded a certificate of appreciation in recognition of her contributions as a member of the scientific committee responsible for evaluating the participating research projects. In addition, student Mohammed Fidaa Jawad received the award for the third-best research project, while student Jumana Hatem Karim was recognized for her active participation in the graduation research projects.

The Dean reaffirmed the College of Dentistry’s commitment to advancing students’ scientific research skills, aligning educational outcomes with the evolving demands of the labor market, and strengthening academic and scientific collaboration with Iraqi universities. He further emphasized that such initiatives contribute significantly to enhancing the quality of higher education and fostering a sustainable academic future.
