The regular meeting of the College of Dentistry Council at the University of Baghdad was held, with the thirty-fourth session convening on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Ibrahim, and attended by the assistant deans and heads of the scientific departments.
The meeting commenced with a review of the directives issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, and the respected Dean. Discussions focused on ways to enhance academic and administrative performance and to adopt the necessary decisions that ensure the best interests of the College. The Council also discussed proposals submitted by the scientific departments, the Scientific Affairs Division, Graduate Studies, Student Affairs, and Administrative Affairs, in a manner that contributes to meeting labor market needs.
This meeting comes as part of the College Council’s regular sessions, which aim to make appropriate decisions in accordance with its agenda and in line with the applicable regulations and instructions, with the objective of implementing the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of the University of Baghdad regarding the educational and academic process.
