Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Dentistry, attended the First Neuroscience Symposium on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in the conference hall.
The symposium was also attended by Dr. Adel Al-Rikabi, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Parliamentary Education Committee; Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hassan Al-Zughaibi, President of the University of Baghdad; Professor Dr. Amin Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwani, Dean of the College of Medicine; and a number of academics, researchers, and experts in the fields of medicine and health from various local and international universities and institutions. The symposium discussed several themes focused on enhancing medical education and developing its outcomes to meet global health challenges.
During his attendance, Professor Dr. Ali Ismail Ibrahim emphasized the importance of strengthening scientific cooperation among universities and supporting initiatives aimed at developing medical education.
This symposium is part of ongoing efforts to develop the medical and academic sectors in Iraq, contributing to improved health services and raising the level of medical education
