The Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, Professor Ali Ismail Ibrahim, conducted an on-site inspection of the competitive examination for admission to the College’s postgraduate programs for the 2026–2027 academic year. He was accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Professor Saif Siham Salim, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Firas Abdul Amir Farhan, on Tuesday, 30 June 2026. The competitive examination constitutes a fundamental requirement for admission to the College’s postgraduate programs across the various specialties of dentistry. A total of 529 applicants participated in the examination, aspiring to continue their academic journey and join the College’s postgraduate programs. During the inspection tour, the Dean reviewed the examination procedures and organizational arrangements, emphasizing the importance of providing all necessary resources and maintaining an appropriate examination environment to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination while upholding the highest standards of integrity, fairness, and transparency. The Dean also commended the significant efforts of the organizing committees and faculty members in preparing for and supervising the examination, expressing his appreciation for their dedication to ensuring a well-organized and conducive examination environment. At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean extended his best wishes to all applicants for success and expressed his hope to welcome them to the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, where they will contribute to advancing scientific research and academic excellence, as well as strengthening oral healthcare services.
