Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized, as part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, a continuing education course entitled:
Laboratory procedures in dental implants, with the attendance of a number of faculty members in the college.
The course aims to apply the use of basic mechanical technology such as removable denture connections to the use of developments in computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM), milling operations, and auxiliary procedures such as CT-guided surgery.
The course also included several axes that addressed the presentation of these developments in an educational manner, making it possible for those who read this information to improve the quality of care in general.
The course recommended the necessity of organizing special protocols for treating patients, which enhance basic clinical concepts and dental laboratory concepts, and are presented within the context of the scientific sequence for providing care to patients. Descriptions of dental prosthetic treatment include integrating the latest uses of technology to help achieve successful results.
