Professors and students from the College of Engineering, Department of Architecture, organized a scientific visit to the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad. The visit aimed to gain field insight into the functional requirements for designing a College of Dentistry building as part of the Architectural Design course.
The visit included a comprehensive tour of the teaching clinics, scientific laboratories, administrative departments, and open spaces belonging to the college.
This visit seeks to integrate theoretical design principles with real-world requirements in order to enhance students’ abilities and broaden their understanding within an actual work environment. It also supports the development of engineering designs that include urban expansion plans for the College of Dentistry in line with the increasing number of dentistry students.
The visit contributes to developing students’ skills and strengthening their comprehensive and practical understanding of architectural design. In addition, it encourages students to propose innovative solutions to architectural challenges in the design of medical
