Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed,
the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a seminar entitled “Artificial Intelligence.” The seminar was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Soha Talal, with the attendance of several faculty members.

Objective of the seminar:
To introduce participants to artificial intelligence, its types, its history, and how it can be used in education.

Seminar highlights:

  • Exploration of AI applications in universities at three levels:
  • Using algorithms to identify students targeted for admission.
  • Curriculum planning.
  • Allocation of resources such as financial aid and facilities.

Recommendations:
The seminar emphasized the need to educate different segments of the educational process by creating systems that respond to the rapid demands of users. These systems should evaluate students, provide necessary guidance, and identify their strengths and weaknesses. Such systems are often referred to as personalized learning platforms, which are already being used in various educational models (traditional, electronic, and blended).
