The College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, organized a continuing education course entitled
Advancement in orthodontics
In the presence of a number of faculty members.
The course aimed to inform the participants about the development in orthodontics and the most important and latest technologies used in orthodontics.
The course included a full explanation of the type of modern transparent braces and an explanation of its advantages and its difference from metal braces.
The course topics covered:
1- Defining and explaining the advantages of transparent calendar
2- Lateral filing and its benefits
3- The psychological aspect of orthodontics
4- The use of PEEK in orthodontics
