Under the sponsorship and supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, the respected Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al Hashimi, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized volunteer work to serve the community within the activities of “Clothes the Orphans of the Popular Mobilization Forces” in the halls of Buratha Mosque. A number of professors from the branch of preventive dentistry participated in this campaign.
The activities varied to include providing clothing to the orphans of the Popular Mobilization Forces, in addition to examining a number of patients and diagnosing their needs as a first step in monitoring oral health. They also included distributing awareness posters about the importance of taking care of oral health, providing scientific advice on maintaining dental hygiene, and directing them to educational clinics at the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, where they are provided. The best types of treatments at nominal prices, within a staff specialized in the field of dentistry.
These efforts reflect the college’s commitment to caring for the community and contributing to improving the health of its members, emphasizing its effective role in providing health services and spreading health awareness among the local community.
