Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdel-Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a symposium entitled Tumors that have spread to the maxillofacial region, delivered by assistant lecturer Fatima Jalil Ismail, in the presence of a number of college employees and teachers.
The symposium aimed to identify the most important types of tumors spreading to the facial and maxillofacial area from all parts of the body.
The symposium also included topics that included an explanation of the most important types of tumors spreading in the maxillofacial region, including the method of clinical examination and obtaining information about the case, along with an explanation of the laboratory tests necessary for diagnosis.
The symposium also included the presentation of clinical and microscopic images for the purpose of distinguishing these tumors.
At the symposium, the researcher called for adopting the latest diagnostic methods necessary for early detection of these tumors.
