Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled Protein Purification, delivered by Prof. Dr. Iman Ali Salman.
The workshop aimed to: define the technology, its methods and applications of using purified proteins.
The workshop also included topics that included:
1. Introduction (the concept of purification).
2. Purification methods.
3. Methods for diagnosing purified proteins.
4. Applications.
The workshop recommended the necessity of preparing specialized research teams in the field of protein purification due to the importance of this field in terms of medical and industrial applications.
