The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with Vanest Company, organized a scientific workshop entitled Digital Dentistry as part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. It was delivered by Dr. Bashar Muhammad Sakin. In the presence of a number of students and faculty members at the college.
The aim of the workshop was to inform participants about the use of dental technologies or devices integrated with digital components or controlled by computers in order to implement dental procedures, instead of using mechanical or electronic tools.
The workshop also included axes that addressed the topic of digital occlusion and how to benefit from this aspect in various cases related to the dental industry and implantation.
The workshop recommended the importance of using digital dentistry as it increases the efficiency of implementing dental procedures to a higher degree than those implemented through mechanical tools for various purposes, including prosthetic and diagnostic. It is used as a way to facilitate dental treatments and provides modern methods to meet the patient’s increasing requirements.
