The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad has achieved a new academic achievement by securing the top position the British Times ranking of the best universities, at the level of dental colleges in Iraq. This achievement comes as a confirmation of the distinguished scientific status enjoyed by the college, and its pioneering role in providing high-quality medical education according to international standards.

The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashemi, praised that this achievement reflects the continuous efforts of the College Council, the teaching staff and students, in addition to the continuous updating of curricula and research facilities. He also stressed his continued pursuit of academic excellence and enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, which contributes to raising the university’s status at the regional and international levels.

The British Times ranking is one of the most prominent international rankings that evaluate universities according to precise criteria that include the quality of education, scientific research, research citations, and international cooperation.
