Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Digital Drugs, Their Types and Dangers”, delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sahar Hashim Abdul Karim, in the presence of a number of faculty members at the college.
The aim of the workshop was to identify digital drugs, their types, and the extent of their danger and harm to youth and society.
The workshop also included many axes, including the types of digital drugs, their classifications, their health harms to their users, their symptoms, and how to confront and treat them in society.
The workshop recommended the importance of educating youth and families and explaining the danger of this scourge, as well as setting laws and legislation to limit it, pursue its promoters, and control the places where it spreads in the virtual world in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications.
