Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Muhammad, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad hosted Assistant Professor Dr. Bharak Devband, a lecturer and member of the research staff at the Dental and Periodontal Research Center at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences.
This visit came within the framework of strengthening academic and research cooperation between the two universities. The two universities discussed the possibility of establishing joint research agreements and projects that would open new horizons for scientific integration and exchange of expertise in the field of dentistry and its sciences.
Dr. Devband Bharak toured the college and teaching hospital and met with the college’s research team. The two sides discussed mechanisms for cooperation in strategic research tracks that keep pace with global scientific progress and contribute to the development of scientific research outcomes. It is worth noting that Dr. Devband has a distinguished research record, with her h-index reaching (23) and the number of citations for her research exceeding (2300). She also has (72) published research papers in reputable scientific journals within the Scopus database. The esteemed Dean of the College praised this important scientific step, which will contribute to building effective academic communication bridges with reputable international universities, thus enhancing the position of the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad on the international scientific research map.
