As part of strengthening cultural cooperation between Iraq and Thailand, the College of Dentistry, represented by student Lana Misri, participated in the “Essay Competition” organized by the Thai Embassy. The competition focused on writing an essay about the nature of life in Thailand.
Lana Misri, a fifth-year student, excelled by writing a distinguished essay that was highly praised by the judging panel, qualifying her to win a prize from the Thai Embassy.
The awards ceremony was held at the Baghdad International Hotel, attended by the Thai Ambassador, the Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Hamid Al-Jubouri, and several members of the Thai Embassy.
The Dean of the College of Dentistry, Professor Dr. Raghad Abdul-Razzaq Al-Hashemi, expressed his pride in this achievement, praising the student’s academic level and affirming the college’s continued support for its students’ participation in international and cultural events that contribute to developing their skills and honing their academic and literary abilities. This participation is an honorable addition to the achievements of the College of Dentistry, and evidence of the excellence of its students in international and cultural forums.
