To Enhance Academic Cooperation, As part of the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, the parent college of dental colleges in Iraq,’s efforts to open up to reputable international academic institutions and companies, a meeting was held with representatives of Dentsply-Sirona International. During the meeting, avenues for joint cooperation and prospects for developing the capabilities of students and graduates were discussed, contributing to enhancing the academic standing of the college and university.
The company’s representatives expressed their appreciation for the opportunity provided by the college to showcase their global educational programs, which aim to develop the knowledge and skills of dental students by providing high-quality equipment and materials, along with the necessary technical and scientific support. The delegation also reviewed the mechanisms of cooperation adopted with international universities to implement the company’s educational initiatives, in addition to reviewing possible opportunities for scientific and cultural exchange. The importance of including graduate students in these educational initiatives was emphasized, given the academic quality of master’s and doctoral research, reflected in its publication in prestigious international scientific journals indexed in international databases (Clarivate and Scopus).
