Under the patronage of the esteemed Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed,
the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, through the Continuing Education Unit, organized a training workshop entitled “Electronic Archiving”. The workshop was delivered by Engineer Fatima Shaker Jassim, with the attendance of several faculty members and staff.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the concepts of electronic archiving and the best methods for its implementation.
It covered several key topics, including:
- The concept of electronic archiving
- Types of electronic documents
- Steps of the electronic archiving process
- Challenges and solutions in electronic archiving
The workshop recommended the following:
- Understanding the concepts and importance of electronic archiving
- Learning the best methods for implementing electronic archiving
- Acquiring skills in converting documents into digital format and indexing them
- Familiarizing oneself with different electronic archiving systems
- Developing the ability to apply electronic archiving principles in the workplace
