On September 22, 2024, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed, Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, welcomed the first group of Arab postgraduate students as part of the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The initiative aims to strengthen academic cooperation between Iraq and Arab countries and to open the doors of higher education in Iraq to Arab students wishing to pursue advanced studies.
During the meeting, Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq warmly welcomed the students, emphasizing the importance of this initiative in enhancing cultural and scientific exchange among Arab nations. He stressed the college’s commitment to providing full academic support and a learning environment that ensures the success of their educational journey.
The Dean affirmed that through this initiative, the college seeks to realize the ministry’s vision of attracting Arab talents and expanding academic collaboration with Arab universities. He expressed confidence that the Arab students will achieve remarkable success.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Arab students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the warm reception and the efforts made by the college to support them academically, looking forward to a fruitful and distinguished educational experience in Iraq.
