Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Sustainable Development from the Perspective of Dentistry.”
The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ali Ismail Al-Bustani and Assist. Prof. Dr. Noor Raouf Al-Hasani, with the attendance of several faculty members.
The workshop aimed to introduce the concepts of sustainable development from the perspective of dentistry and how to integrate its goals into practical dental research.
It covered several key topics, including:
- A detailed explanation of the third goal of sustainable development.
- A detailed explanation of the fourth goal, which emphasizes the right of all individuals to quality education.
The workshop recommended striving to achieve the goals of sustainable development, as they ensure a good quality of life for all individuals regardless of their affiliations or nationalities. It also highlighted the importance of educational institutions in spreading the culture of sustainable development among students and encouraging them to apply it through scientific research and practical implementation.
