Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Mohammed, the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Peace and Rejecting Violence and Hatred in Islam.”

The workshop was delivered by Assist. Prof. Dr. Noor Raouf Al-Hasani, with the attendance of several faculty members and staff of the college.

The workshop aimed to introduce the meaning of peace and its importance in Islam, as well as the significance of rejecting violence.

It covered several key topics, including:

  1. Defining peace and rejecting violence.
  2. Islamic evidence highlighting the importance of peace in Islam.

The workshop concluded with the following recommendations:

  1. Following the teachings of Islam, as its social, economic, and political system provides the best model for social peace.
  2. Encouraging society to cooperate, show solidarity, compassion, and spread the spirit of tolerance to prevent and confront violence.
  3. Promoting a culture of coexistence within society.
  4. Spreading the spirit of tolerance and good faith towards others.
