Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq Al-Hashimi, a team of students from the college, supervised by faculty members from the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, carried out a community service field visit on Al-Mutanabbi Street near Al-Qushla Square Garden.
The campaign included health awareness activities for citizens on the importance of maintaining oral and dental health, as well as distributing educational brochures explaining the various health services provided by the college hospital. In addition, different dental medical services were offered during the campaign. The initiative received positive interaction from citizens, who praised the college’s efforts in providing support and promoting public health education.
Such initiatives reflect the College of Dentistry’s commitment to enhancing health awareness among community members and offering humanitarian services that contribute to improving public health, in line with its academic and societal mission.
